What are the payment options?

Credit and PayPal are both available as payment options.

What is your return policy?

All sales on Digital Designs are final. Any issues with purchased files will of course be rectified, just send an email with your order number.

What is a License and why do I need one?

A license is a document that gives you permission to use the The Crafty Wench seamless files (designs sold separately) for commercial use for a total of one year, then the licences must be renewed. If you plan on profiting off the use of any The Crafty Wench design then a license must be purchased. There are 5 available licenses depending on the production quantity of your business. *POD (Print on Demand) is NOT permitted regardless if you hold a licence*

Can I send the designs I bought to a fabric printer?

Yes, you are permitted to send The Crafty Wench designs to fabric printers HOWEVER you are not allowed to give the printer permission to re-sell/use the design past what you have requested of them. FURTHERMORE if you use a printer/company that is known for theft or re-use, who then in turn steals/uses any The Crafty Wench files that you have given access to, you may be held liable as well as the printer.

I am a Small Business that hand makes clothing, tumblers, etc. Do I need a license?

Yes, you will need to purchase a Micro Business License (Less than 200 products made per month) or Small Business License (200-500) products made per month) if you are hand making clothing / products on a small scale.

I use to make under 200 products but now I'm making more then that but I have 6 months left on my current license. Do I need to buy a new one now?

You can finish off the remainder of the license term currently in use. Just be sure to purchase a new license that reflects your approximate current consistent monthly product output when your current licence expires.

Some months I can make over 200 products a month do I really need to buy a high licensing Tier?

Not necessarily. Licensing is based on APPROXIMATELY how much you would CONSISTENTLY make in a month. If some months your over the product limit that's ok, but if you are CONSISTENTLY 100-200 products over then YES a new licensing tier is necessary. It's understandable that during high sale seasons such as Christmas there may be higher product production then for the rest of the year.

How long does a license last?

All licenses expire after one year from your purchase date. You will have to renew yearly to have continued permissions of my designs. If you chose not to renew the license, all The Crafty Wench designs will need to be removed from all commercial use.

What is a licensed asset?

Any downloaded product with your customer details attached during the order process. This applies to all license types, including free products.

What is the difference between personal and commercial use of an asset?

Commercial Use is any use:

  • that involves an exchange of money or other consideration

  • that promotes a business (e.g., sole proprietorship, corporation, or partnership), product, or service

  • where financial gain or other consideration is either sought or a result, directly or indirectly, of Licensee’s use of the Licensed Asset.

If one or more of the above is true, the use is “Commercial” and requires a license

Personal use is a use that is only for personal purposes. If the use meets one or more of the “commercial” bullet points above, it qualifies as “Commercial” use

What is an end product?

An End Product is a product you create from the assets purchased from The Crafty Wench
